Inside Out Yoga

Using the stuff we do on the outside to to transform the stuff on the inside…

What would a yoga course be about, if it WASN’T just about being bendy?

What if we shifted the focus to see how what we do with the bits on the outside can change what we’re able to tap into on the inside?

Join me for a deep-dive over ten weekly online lessons, using a mix of hatha and vinyasa-style yoga to get the good stuff that’s on the inside out; things like being in balance, feeling connected, and tapping into your inner strength.

This is the perfect yoga course for you if…

  • You want more than the usual ‘breathe in do this; breathe out do that’ kind of class.

  • You are interested in what else a yoga practice could give you apart from longer hamstrings.

  • You are looking for a super-friendly bunch of real life yogis.

  • You need a class where no-one cares how bendy you are, whether you wear lycra, or if you prefer cake to kale.

  • You want to know how to use your time on the mat to enhance your life OFF the mat.

For ten (almost) consecutive Monday evenings, starting on Monday 7th June, we’ll come together every week for a glorious 75 minute class where we use our bodies to feel marvellous in our minds.


Are you ready for a big yoga spoiler?

Here goes – the LAST thing that yoga is about is being bendy. And if you’re a mere mortal like me, with a very ‘normal’ body (that’s often comfortably full of wine, pizza, and chocolate) this is probably music to your ears.

Yoga can teach us SO much more than which bit of us is the tightest/least co-operative/most grumpy. In fact, it can give us practical tools to take off the mat and into our real lives, and help us to find the qualities which we need almost every moment of every day.

So together, over the course of ten weeks, we’ll use our asana practice (the shapes we make with our bodies on the yoga mat) to tap into the qualities which ARE inside us already.

Here’s the plan:

  • Weeks 1 and 2: Balance

  • Weeks 3 and 4: Strength

  • Weeks 5 and 6: Compassion

  • Weeks 7 and 8: Connection

  • Weeks 9 and 10: Confidence
