Looking for a gentle way to ease back into movement this New Year? Our Saturday 9am “Every Body” yoga classes in Stroud are designed to help you start the year feeling stronger, calmer and more connected, without pressure or pretence. Perfect for beginners and those returning to yoga, these inclusive classes focus on mindful movement, breath and relaxation in a warm, supportive space.

  • You’ve done a bit of yoga in the past and want to get back on the mat after a break.

  • You’re looking to start yoga, are averagely mobile, and want to dive in at just the right level of challenge….without it being intimidating and terrifying.

  • You need that little bit of commitment to finally get you sticking to something that’s going to keep you feeling fine and flexible…

We run the classes in blocks of ten weeks. Each ten week block has a theme running through it meaning you get a bit of a deeper-dive into a topic. 

At the same time you get a really good all-round practice meaning you leave the studio feeling a little closer to the amazing version of yourself you really are.

In every 60 minute class we’ll find just the right balance between doing stuff that’s good for the body, and stuff that’s good for the brain. So we’ll start with some mindfulness (that even the most fidgety sceptic can get on board with…), followed by breathing and bending, before finishing class with a lovely little lie-down (or ‘savasana’ if you want to be all yogic about it…).

For the course of ten hour-long lessons, the investment is just £105. That’s just £10.50 a class!

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

Real Life Yoga is all about helping real people bring a little (or a lot) of yoga into their real lives. Absolutely no prior bendiness is required, but please note there will be movements that take us from standing, down to the floor, and back up again.

If you have problems with these kinds of movements, learning yoga in a class scenario such as this may not be for you. Please contact Meg to discuss if you have any questions or concerns.

If you have any serious medical conditions you should check with your doctor before starting any kind of new physical activity. This class is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant.
