Yoga for home-workers

HANDS UP EVERYONE WHO CAN’T PUT THEIR HANDS UP BECAUSE THEY’VE BEEN HUNCHED OVER A BADLY BALANCED LAPTOP FOR TOO LONG?!

I’ve had so many people send me messages asking for help with sore shoulders, bad backs, angry arms, and niggly necks, I figured there must be a bunch of you in the same creaking boat.

Hopefully these stretches will help anyone who is suffering from Working-From-Home-Induced Wonkiness or Lockdown Lameness to at least ease one of your pains in the…..body.

You’re a sensible human, but let me remind you that if you’ve got anything that’s injured or something feeling really bad in your body - don’t push any of these stretches. If something doesn’t feel good; don’t do it.

Breathe. Move. Smile. And yes - you can do all these moves in your pyjamas.

yoga for kids

You know what every parent wants now? more time with their frustrated, angsty, bored kids. Right?!

Ok. Probably not.

But if you’re looking for one more thing to put on a screen that a.) doesn’t drive you insane, b.) that isn’t the same thing over and over again, and that a.) doesn’t drive you insane, just press play on this little baby for your not-so-little babies.

In this little kid-orientated class there are heaps of visualisations and suggestions so that your little ones get so distracted by me being a bit silly, they don’t even realise that they’re doing something that’s brilliant for bodies and marvellous for minds.

I know that you might want to get involved too, so I’ve tried to make it grown-up friendly too. Or at least grown-up tolerable….

Calm and connected

who doesn’t need ten minutes of sit-down-and-shut-up?

All of us do. Every single one of us.

Yes. Especially you.

So here are a bunch of really simple, super straight-forward guided mindfulness practices that take just ten minutes.

Whether you’ve never had a go at mindfulness before, or can do this stuff with your eyes shut (!) these are bite-sized opportunities to press the pause button on your day and make YOU your priority.

You need just three things: a mind, a body, and your breath. So click ‘play’, dive in, get still, breathe deep, feel fabulous.
